Franklin Motor Car Collection
Design and fabrication of 7,000 sf. re-creation of a historic 1920’s Hollywood Franklin Motor Car showroom. 16 vintage Franklins appear in the sumptuous space, painstakingly lit to highlight period auto styling details. Project included production of a simulated nickelodeon show tracing the transcontinental trek by a Whitman and Carris driving a Franklin Roadster to set the trans-U.S. speed record in 1904. Exhibition included explanatory graphics, hands-on experiences, and historic artifacts. H. H. Franklin Club, client. Opened at the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, Michigan, May, 2010
